Over the years I collected several serial number of Type 53 carbines, just like the 91/30 sniper rifles and the Vz54/57 rifles.
I began to organize the T53 serial numbers into a database and I can already crudely estimate a production quantity, not only on year basis but also on mothly basis.
However, for a better, detail work I need more serial numbers.
I want to continue this research and to further his study your help and input is appreciated.
The informations I need are:
-Production year and eventually month of the carbine
-Arsenal that made the rifle (296 or 26)
-Rifle serial number (with prefixes if available ( '53 and few '54 dated guns and 1960 dated guns)
Pics are welcome. If you can't take some pics, there's no problem.

Is my Pax by Ploom real or just a really good fake?
I bought a Pax from the local flea market and I want to know if it is real or fake. So far I've researched a lot online and it seems this Pax is an extremely close fake due to a couple of reasons:

Things that tell me it might be real:
The charger is 9V, 1.3A and says 'Ploom SWITCHING A/C ADAPTER'
The lighting scheme: Yellow (low), Orange (medium), Red/Pink (hot), Purple when heating the chamber, Green once ready, Orange when charging and Green once done charging. When I take a toke on Green and put it down on the table, the light turns Blue until I pick it up or move it in which case it immediately turns Purple and heats up the chamber again.
The 'g' in Designed looks like the real 'g' font
The screw in the back is the correct one, does not look cheap at all.
The 'X' logo looks correct, with no white screen behind it.
The cleaning kit comes with 2 Mouthpiece Lubricants, the 'Sterilising Wipes' have the Ploom logo on them, and the alcohol wipes say Ploom not Plaom.
The serial number under the mouthpiece starts with a B and matches the one on the box (I left it out of the pics intentionally because someone told me I'm never supposed to give out the serial number)
Things that make me believe it's a fake:

Page 7 of the manual says 'While Pax is cool' in bold letters (although everything else in the manual matches up including the colour scheme)
I don't think Party mode works on it (I tried rolling it towards myself a few times but it just keeps heating the chamber)
So what do you guys think?
